The Nittany Lions have now beaten two America East schools, as they defeated Hartford, 89-64 on Nov. 20, and downed the Wildcats by 20 this afternoon. Penn State's Talor Battle scored a game-high 24 points on an extremely efficient 9-of-11 shooting to go along with eight rebounds while his teammate Jamelle Cornley contributed 17 and eight. New Hampshire's only real threat came from beyond the arc as they connected on seven 3-pointers. UNH senior Tyrece Gibbs led the team in points (14), 3-pointers made (4) and assists (4). Classmate Eric Gilchrese was the only other Wildcat to net double digts as he finished with 13. Freshman Abby Kabba played the majority of minutes in the post for UNH, pulling in a team-high seven boards in 26 minutes.
