Around the League: 12.05.08

Friday's game:

Stony Brook 71, Lehigh 50
Maybe Stony Brook isn't as terrible as people have been making them out to be. Granted it was against Lehigh, but the Seawolves have won three non-leagues games in a row. Impressive by any standards (as long as you're not playing D-III schools). Chris Martin converted 11-of-11 free throws to aid his game-high 19 points while Bryan Dougher continues to impress as he scored 13 (his third-consecutive game with double-digits). Desmond Adedeji netted 11 points and hauled down nine rebounds while blocking three shots. The Seawolves trailed 27-22 at halftime but outscored the Mountain Hawks 49-23 following the break. Marquis Hill led Lehigh with 11 points.

Saturday's games:
Brown vs. New Hampshire, 1:00 p.m.
Binghamton vs. Rutgers, 2:00 p.m.
La Salle vs. Hartford, 4:00 p.m.
Albany vs. Siena, 7:00 p.m.
Vermont vs. Pittsburgh, 7:00 p.m.
